Santa Claus Conquers the Martians Movie Review

A Martian spaceship comes to Earth and kidnaps Santa Claus and two children. Martian kids, it seems, are jealous that Earth tykes have Christmas. One of those low-budget holiday items that raked in the cash year after year at holiday matinees. Not meant to be taken too seriously even by children, there are quite a few touches of intentional satire aimed at parents in the audience. Features then-child star Pia Zadora. Nicholas Webster's only other directorial credit appears to be his own low-budget production of Gone Are the Days (1963) with Alan Alda and Godfrey Cambridge. AKA: Santa Claus Defeats the Aliens.
