Godzilla Vs. Mothra Movie Review

A gigantic egg washes ashore in Japan via a hurricane. Despite warnings from a pair of tiny girls (the fairy priestesses of Mothra from the earlier movies), a wealthy industrialist plans to build an amusement park around it. Before too long, however, Godzilla shows up, hungry to do some city-stompin’. The fairies convince Mothra to come to Tokyo's aid. Though the huge flying critter fares badly against the Big G, two junior Mothras hatch from the giant egg in the nick of time and join the fray. This is one of the better entries in the series; wonderful entertainment for monster-fans. Except for a sequence added at the request of American International, in which Godzilla is attacked by U.S. Navy missiles, the U.S. version is nearly the same as the original, and the dubbing was done decently. Unfortunately, half the image is lost in the video release. AKA: Godzilla Vs. the Thing; Godzilla Vs. the Giant Moth; Godzilla Fights the Giant Moth; Mothra Vs. Godzilla; Mosura Tai Gojira; Godzilla Tai Mosura; Godzilla Fights the Giant Moth.
