Trois Couleurs: Blanc Movie Review
Although White is highly regarded by admirers of Krzysztof Kieslowski's trilogy, for me, it was the least involving segment of the three. The story revolves around Karol, a Polish hairdresser (Zbigniew Zamachowski) whose marriage to gorgeous French wife Dominique (Julie Delpy) is dissolving. Dominique wants Karol out of her life, out of their Paris hairdressing salon (she sets it on fire), and out of France. Isn't it always the way?—Karol still wants Dominique back after all that! After a brief period of insolvency, he goes to Warsaw, restores his lost fortune, and then comes up with a sure-fire scheme. White was the favorite installment of many followers of the series. AKA: White; Three Colors: White.
