Trois Couleurs: Bleu Movie Review

The life of Julie de Caurcey (Juliette Binoche) is shattered. Her composer husband Patrice (Hugues Quester) and five-year-old child Anna have been killed in a car accident. She decides to withdraw from life and all her former associations and possessions (except for a blue crystal lamp) and live alone. Needless to say, her friends have things to say and do about the decision she made in a moment of deep depression and gradually, Julie works through her grief. A tour de force for Binoche, who won a Cesar for her performance. AKA: Three Colors: Blue; Blue.
