Nice Guys Sleep Alone Movie Review 1999

Overachieving independent romantic comedy finds nice guy Carter (O'Bryan) hearing those three dreaded words "let's be friends" at the end of each date. He has resolved to take a new approach when he meets Maggie (Temchen), a vet recently arrived in Louisville from New York. The complications that keep the plot moving are familiar, and Carter's rival Robert (Murray) is such a swine that it's impossible any intelligent woman would pay attention to him, no matter how rich he is. But the characters are engaging, especially Carter's stepsister Erin (Marcil), and the film has its heart in the right place.
