Sammy (Linney) is a single mom who works at the local bank in her small hometown. Orphaned at an early age, she has grown apart from her younger brother Terry (Ruffalo), who's become a self-destructive wanderer. When Terry comes for a visit, the love they still share as siblings conflicts with their unease over their adult selves and what they now expect from each other. Great performances and no pat resolutions.
