Examines the art of Felix Nussbaum, a German-Jewish artist who spent most of the Holocaust in hiding, creating paintings. Nussbaum was turned into the Gestapo right before the end of the war and died at Auschwitz. Students in Berlin face the Holocaust and their feelings about this period of history through Nussbaum's art.
