Who Framed Roger Rabbit Movie Review

Technically marvelous, cinematically hilarious, eye-popping combination of cartoon and live action create a Hollywood of the 1940s where cartoon characters are real and a repressed minority working in films. A ‘toon-hating detective (Bob Hoskins) is hired to uncover the unfaithful wife of 2-D star Roger, and instead uncovers a conspiracy to wipe out all ‘toons. Kathleen Turner notably lent her seductive tones to the va-va-voom appeal of Jessica Rabbit, who, after all, wasn't bad – just drawn that way. Special appearances by many cartoon characters from the past. Coproduced by Touchstone (Disney) and Amblin (Spielberg). Adapted from Who Censored Roger Rabbit? by Gary K. Wold.
