Trancers 5: Sudden Deth Movie Review

Filmed simultaneously with Trancers 4, this is supposedly the final chapter of Jack Deth's saga. Underwhelming swashbuckler has future cop Deth helping rebels occupy the castle of Caliban (names were borrowed from Shakespeare's The Tempest). But the evil Lord Caliban is resurrected, and Sherwood Forest heroics continue rather listlessly in a talky opus that spends much time arguing, rather belatedly, for Trancer rights. Typically for a Full Moon tape, the short running time is padded out with lengthy featurettes devoted to the making of Trancers 5 and other imponderables.
