Superman 4: The Quest for Peace Movie Review

The third and quite unnecessary sequel, in which the Man of Steel endeavors to rid the world of nuclear weapons. In the process, he again runs afoul of Lex Luthor (Gene Hack-man), who is of course very interested in nuclear energy. So interested, in fact, that he uses it to create Nuclear Man, a sort of atomic anti-Superman who's cloned in record time from a few of the superhero's stray cells. Special effects are dime-store quality and it appears that someone may have walked off with parts of the plot. Still, Christopher Reeve deserves credit for remaining true to character through four films of very uneven quality.
