Son of Blob Movie Review

A post-Jeannie, pre-Dallas Larry Hagman directed this exercise in zaniness. A scientist brings home a piece of frozen blob from the North Pole; his wife accidentally revives the dormant gray mass. It begins a rampage of terror by digesting nearly everyone within its reach, including Shelley Berman and Burgess Meredith. One poor guy drinks a blob cocktail and then it…well, sort of drinks him. From the inside out. Sequels to classics of The Blob’s stature don't usually work, but this one is great fun. AKA: Beware! The Blob.
