Something Wicked This Way Comes Movie Review

Ray Bradbury wrote the screenplay for this much-anticipated, big-budget adaptation of his own novel. Darkly magical story told from a young boy's point of view. Mr. Dark's traveling circus comes to town, and while its true nature is revealed a little early, there's still lots of fun, fantasy, and even a few life lessons in store, as the locals flock to the circus, each to be tempted with their own deepest and darkest desires. The usual fine performance by Jason Robards as the boy's father looking for redemption in his son's eyes, the required ham-job by Jonathan Pryce as the sinister Mr. Dark, and good special effects, almost make this a great film.
