Runaway Movie Review

Rogue robots on the loose! Who ya gonna call? ‘Bot-busters! But this isn't supposed to be a comedy. Instead, the less-than-top-drawer Michael Crichton effort is a formula near-future thriller with a cop (Tom Selleck) and his new partner (Cynthia Rhodes) tracking down out-of-control machines and being chased by same. Definitely not another Blade Runner. Features Gene Simmons of the rock group KISS as the villain. Well-photographed by veteran John Alonzo with some nice mechanical and visual effects.
