Rodan Movie Review

Rodan, a gigantic pterodactyl, is awakened from his slumbers in a mineshaft by ill-considered H-bomb tests. He breakfasts on some gigantic mutant grubs (good) and then flies around destroying things (bad…very bad). After a while the monster is joined by a mate, and then the fun (and havoc) begins in earnest. Rodan, who would appear in several later monster epics, seems less than impressive in his solo debut. Japanese monster-maniacs will enjoy it, but the uninitiated might want to stick with the better Godzilla flicks. AKA: Radon; Radon the Flying Monster.
