Planet of Dinosaurs Movie Review

Spaceship crashes on an uncharted, prehistoric planet, and the human survivors must put aside their considerable squabbles about what to do next to fight for their lives against hungry, Earth-style dinosaurs. Good stop-motion f/x done on a minuscule budget; it's acting and dialogue that seem fossilized. Will they really be telling farmer's-daughter jokes in the far future? Horror genre fans may be amused to see James Whitworth, memorable as a cannibal mutant in Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes.

1980 (PG) 85m/C James Whitworth; D: James K. Shea. VHS, Beta AHV, VTR
