The Killer Shrews Movie Review

This certified “golden turkey” stars Baruch Lumet (father of famed director Sidney of Serpico and Network fame) as Dr. Craigis, who creates a serum that transforms tiny shrews into rabid beasts (actually dogs in make-up). Producer and co-star Ken Curtis is better known as Festus on the classic TV series Gun-smoke. Ingrid Goude was Miss Universe of 1957. From the people who brought you The Giant Gila Monster. Director Ray Kellogg would later co-direct with John Wayne The Green Berets, the pro-Vietnam War epic in which the sun inexplicably sets in the East.
