The Head Movie Review

Mad scientist (whose lab-enhanced genius has driven out all conscience) keeps the head of an old surgeon alive when the guy's heart fails. The unhappy cranium reluctantly assists the villain in his personal project to transfer the head of a hunchbacked nurse to the body of a beautiful stripper. Moody cinematography and production design is reminiscent of German Expressionism from the great days of silent cinema, but we're not in Metropolis any more, Toto. Lurid, tacky cheapie.
