The Giant Spider Invasion Movie Review

A notoriously bad film from the ‘70s with some of the worst special effects of all time. A small town is attacked by extraterrestrial spiders of various sizes. The little rascals get into blenders and showers and generally cause a panic. The largest of them are simply Volkswagens covered with fake fur (the eyes are headlights, get it?) with a few legs tacked on. The B-movie veteran cast includes Alan Hale, Jr. (the Skipper from Gilligan's Island, whose first line is “Hi, little buddy!”).

1975 (PG) 76m/C Steve Brodie, Barbara Hale, Leslie Parrish, Robert Easton, Alan Hale Jr., Dianne Lee Hart, Bill Williams, Christianne Schmidtmer, Kevin Brodie; D: Bill Rebane; W: Richard L. Huff, Robert Easton; C: Jack Willoughby. VHS MOV
