The Giant Gila Monster Movie Review

Through the magic of rear-projection film techniques, a giant lizard (yes, a gila monster) terrorizes the plucky teens of a small southwestern town. You'd think from that description that the cheesy special effects of the monster would be the worst thing about this movie, but you'd be wrong – the acting is far worse! One young couple has a run in with the lizard while “talking” (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) out in the boondocks, and that good ol’ 1950s moral is hard to miss – if you're going to be sexually promiscuous, you're going to pay the price. All in all, the film provides many unintentional laughs.
