Futurekick Movie Review

One of those movies that annoys you completely, then serves up a marvelously devious trick ending in its final moment. You don't know whether to applaud or throw things. In the slum-like New Los Angeles of the next century, a murder victim's wife hangs around ubiquitous topless bars (the future's industrial base, apparently) in search of her husband's murderer. Available to help is a kickboxing cyborg bounty-hunter played by martial-arts champ Wilson. On second thought, throw things; much of this post-apocalyptic Roger Corman quickie is padded with footage lifted from previous post-apocalyptic Roger Corman quickies.
