Deadly Weapon Movie Review

Producer Charles Band raided his own Laserblast from 10 years earlier for this rather nerdish wish fulfillment, when 15-year-old geek Rodney Eastman finds a secret anti-matter weapon conveniently fallen off a military transport. He uses the way-cool death ray to threaten bullies, parents, a preacher, and other nasty authority figures. You'll hardly like the kid any more than the grownups, even with the ultimately tragic script taking his side. Good but brief f/x.
