The Deadly Mantis Movie Review

After an opening explains the U.S. military's Distant Early Warning Line in the manner of a government training film, that hardware tracks a giant prehistoric praying mantis released from an iceberg via volcanic eruption (hey, it could happen). Roaring like a bear, the insect bugs Washington, D.C., and New York City until humans fumigate. Typically silly ‘50s sci fi with awful comedy relief, decent monster f/x. Tape includes the original coming-attractions trailer. AKA: The Incredible Praying Mantis.
