Creatures the World Forgot Movie Review

A British-made yawn-fest about two tribes of cavemen warring over power and a cave-woman. English horror mainstay Hammer Studios apparently reasoned that since all those films featuring animated dinosaurs and scantily clad cavewomen usually did well in the box office, a flick that cut out the expensive dinos to concentrate on cro-magnon cheesecake would be a sure-fire money-maker. Predictably, Creatures, which features little or nothing in the way of dinosaurs, special effects, or dialogue, was a bronto-sized flop. Star Julie Ege was once a Miss Norway and had a shot at being a pop singer. She should have tried harder, because this dog did nothing for her career.

1970 96m/C Julie Ege, Robert John, Tony Bonner, Rosalie Crutchley, Sue Wilson; D: Don Chaffey; W: Michael Car-reras. VHS, Beta COL, MLB
