Buck Rogers in the h Century (25t) Movie Review

An American astronaut (Gil Gerard), preserved in space for 500 years, is brought back to life by a passing Draconian flagship. Outer-space adventures begin when he is accused of being a spy from Earth. There's a sexy princess, a good-girl heroine, and a very, very annoying little robot with voice provided by Mel Blanc. Based on the classic movie serial, this made-for-TV movie is another example of the mad scramble in the late ‘70s to cash in on the success of Star Wars. A fairly popular TV series resulted. The pilot was fairly competent space opera, though nothing to write home about.
