Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey Movie Review

While this big-budget sequel to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure has better special effects, it doesn't quite capture the charm of the original. It's still fun, though, and to its credit it doesn't simply duplicate the time-travel theme of the first movie. Slain by look-alike robot duplicates from the future, the airhead heroes pass through an impressively visualized heaven and hell before tricking Death into bringing them back for a second duel with their heinous terminators. Non-fans still won't think much of it; phooey on them. If nothing else, this flick will be someday be remembered as Keanu Reeves’ last good role.
