Legacy of the Hollywood Blacklist Movie Review

Legacy of the Hollywood Blacklist, Judy Chaikin's concise, well-edited documentary, focuses on the widows and children of the men who were blacklisted half a century ago, all of whom are still coping with the pain of the past. For those interested in seeing the work of some of the blacklisted artists who had to go underground, Salt of the Earth, a deeply moving 1954 film of a Chicano mine workers strike, is highly recommended.
