Switching Channels Movie Review 1988

A modernized remake of "His Girl Friday," and therefore the fourth version of "The Front Page." Beautiful TV anchorwoman (Turner) wants to marry handsome tycoon (Reeve), but her scheming ex-husband (Reynolds) gets in the way. Weak performances from everyone but Beatty and lackluster direction render this off-told story less funny than usual.
