A classic, quietly hilarious comedy about the tribulations of a father preparing for his only daughter's wedding. Tracy is suitably overwhelmed as loving father Stanley Banks and Taylor radiant as the bride, Kay. A warm vision of American family life, accompanied by the 1940 MGM short "Wedding Bills." Followed by "Father's Little Dividend" (1951) and later a TV series. Remade in 1991.
