This four-volume set features carefully chosen excerpts from Universal Pictures' musical shorts of the 1940s and '50s. Each tape contains at least 18 complete numbers, including such hits as Tommy Dorsey's "Opus One," Woody Herman's "Caldonia," and the Tex Beneke-Glenn Miller Orchestra's "Little Brown Jug." Includes rare items as well, such as Rosemary Clooney in her band vocalist days with Tony Pastor, and Billie Holiday in a 1950 appearance with the Count Basie Sextet. Each volume is also available individually.
