Unscrupulous Lil (sultry Harlow in a red wig) vamps her boss Bill Legendre (Morris) into divorcing his wife (Hyams) and marrying her. But then she gets bored and takes up with the wealthier Gaerste (Stephenson), while keeping his chauffeur Albert (Boyer) on the side. Bill finally divorces her and Lil heads for Europe (with Albert) to play among the nobility. Audiences loved the scandalous material, but the Hays Office objected to the fact that the immoral woman goes unpunished. Boyer took the small but notable role in his third American film because of studio MGM's prestige and it made his career.
