A gangster's rural retirement is undone by a dim-witted criminal in this sometimes-gripping drama. Montand and Deneuve are serviceable in undemanding roles of the gangster and his glamorous wife; Depardieu is more impressive as the trouble-making punk. In French with English subtitles.
