Adaptation of Audie Murphy's autobiography. Murphy plays himself, from his upbringing as the son of Texas sharecroppers to his Army career in WWII, where he was the most-decorated American soldier. Murphy won more than 20 medals, including the Congressional Medal of Honor. Features realistic battle sequences punctuated with grand heroics.
