A woman meets a man at a party and has the proverbial one-night stand. Her privacy is shattered when she discovers that he's a terrorist under surveillance by the police and press. Strong performances by Thomas and Kristofferson help turn this into an interesting American TV remake of the German "Lost Honor of Katharina Blum," based loosely on a novel by Heinrich Boll.
