Sweet Dreams Movie Review 1985

Biography of country singer Patsy Cline (Lange), who is struggling until her recording of "Walking After Midnight" becomes a hit. Her second marriage to fan Charlie Dick (Harris) begin to unravel as his drinking and her success both increase and Charlie turns abusive. Patsy's rise to stardom ended in an early death. Fine performances thoughout, with Lange lip-synching to Cline's original recordings.
