Two films intended to discourage our armed forces from fraternizing with Germans and Japanese. "Your Job in Germany" won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject of 1945, although it was full of bitter anti-German sentiment. "Your Job in Japan" was rarely seen, as it was not finished until Japan had surrendered. It was considerably milder, but General MacArthur was displeased with it and the prints of it quickly vanished.
