Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid Movie Review 1973

Coburn is Garrett, one-time partner of Billy the Kid (Kristofferson), turned sheriff. He tracks down and eventually kills the outlaw. The uncut director's version released on video is a vast improvement over the theatrical and TV versions. Dylan's soundtrack includes the now famous "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."
