Cynical yet whimsical postwar British spy thriller about an angry Irish lass who agrees to steal war plans for the Nazis in order to battle her native enemies, the British--then she falls in love with a British officer. A sharply performed, decidedly jaded view of nationalism and wartime "heroism."
