Yeoman of the Guard Movie Review 1982

A colonel, condemned to death in the Tower of London on false charges of sorcery, is helped to escape by a family loyal to him. In order to save his own life, he masks his true identity and takes his place among the yeomen of the guard, beginning the series of misadventures--some humorous, some tragic--that make "Yeomen of the Guard" one of Gilbert and Sullivan's most beloved musicals.
