We're No Angels Movie Review 1955

Three escapees from Devil's Island hide out with the family of a kindly French storekeeper on Christmas Eve. Planning to rob the family, they end up helping them with various financial, romantic, and familial problems. Somewhat stagey, but great dialogue and excellent cast make for enjoyable holiday fare. One of Bogart's few comedies. From the French stage play of the same name, later remade with De Niro and Penn.
