Quadrophenia Movie Review 1979

Pete Townshend's excellent rock opera about an alienated youth looking for life's meaning in Britain's music scene circa 1963. Jimmy (Daniels) and his pals are Mods who brawl with their rivals, the Rockers. Music by The Who is powerful and apt. Fine performance by Sting in his acting debut as The Ace Face.
