Sexual Imprinting in Estrildine Finches Movie Review 1973

This program depicts young zebra finches being reared by another species of estrildid, the so-called bengalese finch. Zebra finches raised by foster parents direct their courtship exclusively to the bengalese finches, thus they are sexually imprinted on the alien species.
