Cleverly plotted script and fine direction in this dark and intense film about French-Catholic art dealer Robert Klein (Delon), who buys valuables from Jews trying to escape Nazi occupied France in 1942, paying far less than what the treasures are worth. Ironically, he is mistaken for another Robert Klein, a Jew who's wanted for anti-Nazi activities. French with subtitles.
