A document of the work, personalities and antics of the summer facility of the Jack Kerouac School of Poetics at the Naropa Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Among other things, it depicts a joyous reunion of the leading figures of the "Beat Generation," including Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, William Burroughs, Peter Orlovsky and Timothy Leary. Recent poets who have been influenced by the Beats, Ann Waldman, Miguel Pinero, and Diane di Prima, are also featured. Includes appearances by LeRoi Jones and Meredith Monk.
