The producer of this program lived with the Cuevas-Amador family on a remote island off the coast of Mexico for two weeks to gather material on the unusual life of one of the family's youngsters-Gilberto. Gilberto is a teenager who works in the family's fishing business, and whose education consists entirely of matters connected with the sea. The family follows the motto "live simply, do your work well, be kind to one another, and be friendly to all." Produced for the CBS News series "Going Places."
