Three historic broadcasts in the career of Richard Nixon: the "Checkers Speech" (1952) where Nixon defended himself against accusations of misusing campaign funds; "Old Glory" (1957), a short talk from New York's Chrysler Building in honor of flag day; and "Resignation" (1974), a kinescope of the TV pool feed from the Oval Room of the White House as Nixon announces he will leave office.
