This program covers the walkout of thousands of postal workers across the country on July 21, 1978, when their contract expired. It is a story of the struggle to win a better contract, to make certain their workplace is a safe one. The wildcat strike did work, but two hundred workers were fired by management to teach all postal workers a lesson.
