A 16-year-old girl has a tremendous skating career ahead of her until she finds out that she has rheumatoid arthritis. Shows her fustration and depression until she finally accepts her limitations and lives in spite of them. Based on the novel "The Gold Test" by Michael Bonadies. Winner of an Emmy for Best Cinematography.
