Pipeline Movie Review 1977

When oil was discovered near Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, plans for an 800-mile pipeline were made, the largest privately financed project ever undertaken. Construction on the pipeline took from April, 1974, to May, 1977, and the line crosses plains, mountains, canyons, and rivers to reach an ice-free harbor in Prince William Sound.
