The following techniques are demonstrated, among others, for use when disease of the vascular system is suspected: Palpation of radial, cartoid, subclavian and great vessel for strength, contour, and simultaneity of pulses, determination of blood pressure in both arms, and inspection of legs for skin color, temperature, texture, and hair pattern.
