An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge Movie Review 1962

A man is about to be hanged when the rope snaps, and he is able to swim to safety. He entertains thoughts of his family while making his way home. Suddenly, his new-found sweetness of life comes to a halt. Based on a short story by Ambrose Bierce. Telecast on "The Twilight Zone" in 1963.
